NICE PICS. The Kunsthal Rotterdam museum has announced a new celebration of the German photographer, opening next year.

You may have a full year to wait, but come 10th September next year, you’ll be able to catchA Different History of Fashion, the Kunsthal Rotterdam’s retrospective of photographer Peter Lindbergh who’s shot for Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Face and more since the 70s. 

The German photographer’s black and white photography is influenced by « early German cinema, modern dance from the 20’s and industrial surroundings » and his shot of Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer & co. in biker hats in Brooklyn for Versace’s autumn/winter 1991 campaign is one of the key photos to capture the supermodel movement. He’s opened up his personal archive to curator Thierry-Maxime Loriot, so expect never-before-seen work, including polaroids, storyboards and films with muses Kate Moss and Mariacarla Boscono.
